Location, cleanliness, staff. Signal was weak, and if there’s a problem you can’t call for help because you’re staying alone in the entire pension.

I highly recommend this inn, situated in a beautiful, quiet spot. The rooms are clean, and you can eat on site. The staff, especially the friendly ladies, are very pleasant.

The Upper Lake is truly an exceptional place, especially early in the morning and late in the afternoon. The tourist area is also very well made. The whole valley (from Smolník and definitely beyond), the people who live there and strive for a full and cultural life are worth visiting and supporting. There are many “attractions” that people who devote themselves to them professionally, with respect and from the heart, gladly show you.
