“No deberían ofrecer el hotel si está de reformas”
I spotted the hotel right in front of the pyramids, and the view is great. The breakfast was really good, but the terrace has no shade. They have a pool, which most similar hotels don’t offer. The building is under renovation, with work happening even at night. The air conditioning in my room didn’t work, and instead of swapping rooms we had to wait two hours for it to be fixed. The showers were broken too.
“Incredible views and great staff.”
The closeness to the pyramids was amazing, and I could see them from both my room and balcony. The staff were excellent, always ready with information and suggestions. The room was great and the bed very comfortable. The downside was the noise: heavy traffic and dogs barking at night.
The view from the hotel is unbeatable, and the large private balcony in the Sphinx Suite overlooking the Sphinx and four pyramids was absolutely incredible. A table, chairs, and a large padded hanging chair were provided for lounging while watching the pyramids change colors at night. The bed was comfortable and I slept well even with a wedding going on above me, which I actually enjoyed because of the music. Breakfast was huge and the view from the top was amazing. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring every need was met. Mohammed, in particular, went out of his way, helping me communicate with my driver and keeping street vendors at bay.
“Finché che non finiscono i lavori ve lo sconsiglio vivamente”
The room was beautiful and cozy, and the staff were super kind and very polite. The hotel is being renovated, so it doesn’t match the photos. For breakfast you have to leave the property and go to another building where construction is happening everywhere. Then you head to the terrace with a view, but it’s a shame that breakfast is served under the sun without any umbrellas.
The location is ideal for the pyramids, the roof view is fantastic, and breakfast is superb.
