Easy to find, friendly staff, nice restaurant, good food, and stunning outdoor terraces; evening service at the restaurant was top‑class, and the motorbike could be parked nicely in the back yard. The morning traffic noise was a bit disruptive, and the room faced the road.
Perfect location in the town center, very clean and welcoming, the included parking was convenient, the garden and solarium terrace were lovely, the beds were comfortable, the décor was nice, and breakfast was good with plenty of savory options. I would have preferred if they also offered fried eggs.
Everything was fine except for the cleaning staff; the cleaning lady had long arms and I lost my earplugs, so I don’t leave anything visible in the room.
Cleanliness, courteous staff, good breakfast; the room was extremely noisy (facing the street), so we had to keep the window shut, but it was very hot because there was no air conditioning.

The location works well for catching the Vigezzina/Centovalli train and for strolling through the pine woods, and the room was spacious even though a quadruple was shared by two people; however, the standard room needs a makeover – the taps are broken, the drainage is problematic and everything looks like it needs maintenance. Breakfast was plentiful but plain, with no change in the cakes over a whole week, and the 9:30 am cut‑off was far too early, plus the buffet was shut even for guests already seated. When we tried the restaurant for lunch, it was clear they don’t pay much attention to allergies or intolerances as advertised – it was a hassle to explain that one diner required egg‑free pasta. We considered half‑board but luckily hadn’t confirmed it yet, so we skipped it. The staff were very kind, yet the management clearly needs to modernise; guests shouldn’t have to bend to the hotel’s quirks.
