We enjoyed a peaceful stay at The Cornmill, where the old mill’s sound in the breakfast room was a unique touch. We slept soundly with no traffic noise. Karen was a friendly and helpful host. Breakfast was excellent, with perfect poached eggs and amazing homemade fruit compote. We’ll definitely book again.

The converted mill was charming, clean, and the room was comfortable with nice linen. I was greeted with a cup of tea and biscuits, which was a nice gesture. The cooked breakfast was tasty and the host was lovely. It’s within walking distance of Kirkbymoorside cafés and restaurants. I would stay again.

The welcome tea tray in the guest sitting room was greatly appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was cooked to order. The only downside was that I could only stay for one night; otherwise the whole establishment was clean and very comfortable.

The venue was great, tucked away on a quiet lane. The bedroom was furnished to an exceptional standard with a period aesthetic. The dining room continued that theme and was simply stunning. Breakfast was exceptional – the full English was tasty and well cooked, and the fruit salad was divine.
