“Unique peaceful setting - a real adventure worth experiencing”
Being in the middle of nowhere surrounded by sheep and pastures was a nice change of pace. We slept very well because it was so peaceful. The room was comfortable and cozy, and there were solar lamps for trips to the bathroom and a sensor light outside. Breakfast was very thoughtful, with cereal, fruit, toast and toppings, so we didn’t have to worry about finding a place to eat (there isn’t one in Tapawera). They let us bring Gizmo, our very small dog who had a ball running around. The area we stayed in is fully fenced. The bath wasn’t available because the water tanks were low, but it was a bit chilly anyway. I recommend bringing slippers and a dressing gown for bathroom trips.
