The beds and sofas were quite comfortable. Outside the house there’s a rural path that’s pretty good for dogs. You can see the stars from the yard and the barbecue works if none of the other two houses want it and you don’t have to fight. The barbecue tables are meant to be moved and set up elsewhere, that’s for sure. The pillows were quite floppy and practically nonexistent. We were annoyed that the house didn’t have ice, sugar, oil, gel, and similar items; we know it’s not mandatory but it’s annoying to have to buy sugar for two coffees and then not bring it if it spills. The headboards are anchored to the wall, making it impossible to plug in a phone charger there; you have to do it on the opposite wall and leave the phone on the floor charging. The route to get there is horrible and lost, so any trip takes 15 minutes by car.

The location is close to the lake but not surrounded by crowds. Additionally, the service received was exceptional. The access must be considered; the streets are narrow and, if you don't take it into account, you can get confused.

The setting is fantastic, perfect for unwinding and spending a few quiet days.

Close to Sanabria lake, a neat and tidy rustic country house. The village is charming and a lovely restaurant is nearby. The owner is wonderful and we were thrilled to bring our dog along. The path into the village was tricky because the road was narrow; it would have helped to receive advance instructions instead of relying on Google Maps and to know where to park. The house is small but pleasant. It wasn’t mentioned anywhere that you actually have three houses right next to each other (it’s not a separate house, which we had assumed) that share the entrance, the BBQ and the parking.
