The surrounding view and rugged landscape around the property were beautiful. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly good. The staff were helpful and tried their best to fix issues and improve our stay. The towels were brand new and fluffy. The floor was nicely polished and clean. We could see that it would have been a great place in its heyday but it definitely needs upgrades. We saw the reviews about the property needing maintenance and upkeep and we knew the location was a bit rural, so we came prepared with bug spray (brought 2x300ml cans). We booked three rooms and finished both cans in two days. There were lots of flying crickets, cockroaches, and ants in all the rooms. We just accepted it because of the nature of the place. But on the second day, there were still insects crawling into the room, so they must be coming from holes we couldn’t see. The beds were really hard and firm, and you could hear the springs squeaking. There were power outages, so we had to just wait it out. Their generator cannot handle providing power to the entire facility. Their water pump also had issues, so there wasn’t water to shower or flush toilets. They did provide a bucket and scoop to use, but make sure to fill up the bucket when you check in. The staff informed us of what was happening and when it would be fixed, which was good. The location is out of the way from eating places. Wi‑Fi has weak bandwidth, especially if everyone is using it at the same time. If you have your own vehicle, make sure it’s not low (best to have AWD) because vehicle access to the property is uneven and the terrain is difficult to drive on.

The hotel is in a spectacular isolated position on a panoramic promontory with a private stony beach. It has several types of rooms: the Deluxe are quite comfortable, and the Superior triples (which have only one single bed and one French double) are also fine, while the double/twin Supers are smaller and in a back‑up structure. All rooms are clean but need maintenance. The staff are friendly but sometimes absent. The restaurant and breakfast are good. The building is a bit old and many rooms are a bit neglected, requiring quick and effective maintenance. Reception staff are not always present. Wi‑Fi is weak or absent in the rooms. There is no TV, but that was not a problem for us.

The spot was spot on—peaceful, clean, serene, and fresh, just how our planet should be. The staff were kind, professional, and caring. Everything else was loved.

The place was spotless, the staff friendly, and the scenery stunning. However, a lot of maintenance was needed around the beach access.
