A fantastic spot, run by a friendly and very helpful host who knows the region inside out. You can learn about Carpathian culture right at the source. The cabin is well equipped, the plot is large with parking, and the peace and quiet are perfect. It’s an excellent base for trips to the Maramureș and Rădăuți Mountains, with a view of Pietrusol.

We spent a few wonderful days in Maramureș at a superb spot surrounded by nature in a traditional village that keeps its authentic charm. The cottages in Moșești are rustic and have a special allure that made our short holiday very nice. The cottage we stayed in was very comfortable and practical, one of the 4‑5 in the complex. The rooms aren’t huge but are spacious enough, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, giving us truly restful sleep. Everything (mattresses, pillows) was chosen with great care. The terrace was one of our favorite spots, perfect for daytime relaxation. Just on the edge of the property a small stream runs, and the nearby lake completes the tranquil atmosphere. Most importantly, the hosts were extremely welcoming and attentive, fully contributing to our lovely experience in Moșești. We felt great and would love to return next year. I warmly recommend the cottages to anyone wanting a few days of peace, full disconnection, nature, and an authentic Maramureș experience. Nothing was unsatisfactory.

We chose this place for a night between our visits to the painted monasteries of Bucovina and the wooden churches of Maramureș, and it was a total success. The location is ideal for car travelers. Moșești is a small village in nature, yet it has several restaurants and grocery stores (one well-stocked one only 200 m from the accommodation) and stunning views of the Carpathians. The lodging consists of wooden cabins, arranged and decorated with great care and charm. In our case, the cabin had a small kitchen and a fantastic outdoor area where we could eat and relax while listening to the nearby river. Traian is an excellent host who kept an eye on our comfort at all times and recommended several interesting spots for our itinerary, also showing us his project to create an ethnographic museum in the complex and even sharing a jar of homemade palincă with us! :) We can’t praise Traian enough for the love he puts into this project, thank him for his friendliness and dedication, and wish him the best in the future. We would not hesitate a second to stay here again if we ever pass through the area again. Totally recommended.
