“Unusual hotel & location. Good restaurant”
The room was large with a brand‑new bathroom, the food was good, and the whisky bar was enjoyable, but it was noisy because it sits between two roads.

The atmosphere was relaxed, but there was only one place to eat at night, which was a bit pricey.

The hotel room was fairly small, which makes sense given its long history, but the breakfast was generous and the bed was very comfortable.

The location is beautiful, the room is incredibly large and bright with a fantastic bed, the bathroom has a bathtub, the staff at reception, bar, and restaurant are friendly, and the breakfast is very good and generous. The stairs from the parking are quite narrow and difficult to haul luggage up, otherwise nothing negative.

The vibe is great, the breakfast is delicious with a wide selection, and the bar is brilliant.
