How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location was great, but as soon as we entered the accommodation there was a strong sewage smell. There was no soundproofing, so we could hear the annoying footsteps from the floor above and the door of the entrance opening and closing. Finally, the room did not feel clean.

I spent two nights here and the service was an absolute nightmare. When I arrived I called to find out which room I had and what the key code was, but no one answered. When I checked out I accidentally left my phone, a camera card reader, and my jacket behind. I tried to contact the hotel, but they completely ignored me—no responses to my calls or emails. It feels like they deliberately want to keep my personal belongings. I never expected such terrible and dishonest behavior in Iceland.

The window was a Venetian blind and closed poorly, letting wind and rain into the room. It was very poorly insulated, so the hot and cold water fluctuated while showering.

The guesthouse was isolated in the middle of nowhere; the restaurant and shops were more than 20 minutes away by road. No owner was present; another host helped us find our room. If you need owner help, calling the provided number is useless because they don’t answer. Some guests ended up sleeping on a chair because they never received their room code.

It was unfortunately very dirty and smelled bad; the communal kitchen was not equipped.
