Beautiful place above the Holmenkollen ski jump with a view of Oslo, quiet and peaceful, friendly staff, coffee and tea available all day. On site is a bistro with homemade pizza at a reasonable price. Parking costs 130kr per day.

Wir haben 3 Monate nach den Besuch Ihres Hotels eine Rechnung für die Nutzung Ihres "Indoor-Parkplatzes" oberhalb des Einganges zum Hotel bekommen. Der Parkplatz zum abstellen unseres Motorrad wurde uns freundlicherweise durch den Service-Mitarbeiter in der Rezeption empfohlen bzw. zugewiesen. Leider hatte er wohl vergessen zu erwähnen dass das Parken an der Stelle kostenpflichtig ist. Jetzt im Nachhinein (3 Monate später) mit einer Gebühr in Höhe von 462,36 NOK (44,58 €) für 1 Nacht und 1 Motorrad belegt zu werden empfinden wir als nicht fair und nicht sehr gastfreundlich und lassen die guten Erinnerungen an Norwegen und Ihr Hotel in keinem guten Licht erscheinen. Wir legen hiermit Widerspruch für diese Art der Gebührenerhebung ein und bitte diese Gebührenerhebung rückgängig zu machen da uns keinerlei Informationen seitens des Hotels zu der Gebührenerhebung zugänglich gemacht wurden. Wir bitten um Ihre Stellungnahme! Three months after our visit to your hotel, we received an invoice for the use of the "indoor parking area" located above the hotel entrance. The reception staff had kindly recommended—or rather, assigned—this spot for parking our motorcycle. Unfortunately, the staff member apparently forgot to mention that parking there incurred a fee. Being charged 462.36 NOK (€44.58) for a single night and one motorcycle in retrospect (three months later) strikes us as unfair and inhospitable; it casts a negative light on our otherwise fond memories of Norway and your hotel. We hereby formally object to this charge and request that it be waived, given that the hotel provided us with no information whatsoever regarding such a fee. We look forward to your response

We had seen Oslo and then drove to the hotel in the evening. It was foggy and we had to go up through the forest for a while. We were unsure if we were on the right path, but we had a GPS. The hotel has a fantastic location. The next morning the sun shone and it was simply wonderful. Such a grand view of Oslo. Beautiful and safe, also a good area for hiking. We had to take the ferry and then return home. Breakfast was also great. Varied, fresh, and always restocked. A nice wrap‑up to our trip.

Vackert område, lugnt och tyst. Vi uppmärksammade inte att det var parkeringsavgifter. Dag 2 fick vi information av receptionen, då vi frågade. Tips om info vid ankomst?
