The room didn’t match the online photos, but that wasn’t a major issue. I was fascinated by the phone‑controlled door system, yet it ultimately failed me. The biggest disappointment was the service at the end of my stay. The hotel advertised 24‑hour availability everywhere, yet after checking out I left my luggage in the hallway as instructed, expecting to retrieve it anytime before 8 pm. The front desk confirmed this, but the second door’s link that was supposedly active until 8 pm didn’t work. My flight was at 18:05, so I had to leave for the airport by 16:00 at the latest. I called the emergency number and other service lines repeatedly but got no response. I’m stuck, risking missing my flight without my luggage because of poor service. I will demand the luggage be sent to me and a full refund, as this is unacceptable.

The location is excellent, with perfect tram and bus connections, a nearby bus station, and many local cafés, bakeries, and a pharmacy across the street. I was scared of bed bugs after reading reviews, but there were none. The room, however, is not as shown online; it’s only moderately clean and could be cleaner. The rooms feel rundown, all old—windows, doors, etc. I booked for three people, yet the room only has two armchairs. The breakfast is also lackluster; in Italy you expect baguettes, salami, sweets, but they only offer two types of toast, some milk, butter, jam, and a small cheese. It’s a shame. Also, the old windows make it very noisy—always loud! I can’t see it worth more than three stars, though it could improve with some investment.

The hotel is near Trastevere, close to bus lines and the train station. The main street is extremely noisy. The breakfasts are good but limited, only sweet options.
