Things were stolen, and a drug bag was on the floor in my room when we returned from the store. It wasn’t there when I left, and nothing was done about it.

“Didn't think my things were gonna be stolen and not replaced!!!!!!!!!”

The room was never cleaned and no broom, mop, or cleaners were provided. I was told that for a long stay I would have to do the cleaning and bring the cleaners, but that wasn’t mentioned when I signed the check‑in form. My belongings were stolen and the office or police did nothing about it. I shouldn’t have had to report it to the police number they gave me when I called the police. Also, after we went to the store, a plastic bag with white powder was on the floor in my room. I don’t do drugs and shouldn’t have been in my room. It wasn’t there when I left. I took it straight to the office, and nothing was done about it. The light by the bathroom didn’t work.

“The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall the stay was adequate.”

I was pleased that the hotel was close to the venue I was attending and the room rate was better than most. However, my request for a ground‑floor room or a room near the elevator on an upper floor wasn’t fulfilled; the elevator had trouble reaching the third floor where we were assigned. The bedding was stained, and we spotted a couple of roaches that we dealt with promptly.

“Centre ville, mais ce centre, ne vaut pas ce que vous allez voir dans et sur le parking de l'hôtel”

The hotel sits right in the city centre, so everything—restaurants, bars, and more—is within walking distance. The staff were tip‑top, funny, friendly, and extremely understanding, but the place feels under‑funded. Cleanliness, the smell in the rooms, and the outdoor environment—or rather the “local fauna”—were very special, quite literally.
