“Would love to come back to Bergamo but we won’t be staying here”
The hotel sits in a prime spot for airport transfers and has two supermarkets nearby. The staff are lovely. The downside is the noise from the road, especially this morning when a refrigerated lorry delivered to the supermarket before 7 am and the sound was awful. With the windows open and people smoking downstairs, the smell seeped in. The room lacked a kettle and a fridge, which is odd, and some items were outdated. I’d prefer a small fridge over the extra bathroom gadgets like the sewing kit, toothbrush, shaving kit, and nail file. The bathroom storage unit was 2 1/2 m up in the air, making it impossible to reach the shelves. I had told the hotel in advance that it was my husband’s birthday, but they made no effort to accommodate that. Finally, we had to call reception to switch the air‑conditioning on or off, which was strange.
