This B&B is a gem – great courtyard, lovely room, lounge, terrace, parking, bike storage, and a fully equipped bathroom with a comfy bed. The setting is quiet and clean, and the hosts are friendly, helpful, and multilingual. Wi‑Fi, 5G, and cable TV are excellent, and the breakfast is varied and tasty. It’s perfectly located between Bruges and Ghent, with shops, restaurants, and a pharmacy just a five‑minute drive away.

Kathleen is a wonderful host: open, warm, caring, speaking Dutch, English, and good German, always cheerful and available. The cottage‑style accommodation is cozy and functional, with a huge, comfortable bed that gave us great sleep. Every morning the breakfast changes, with extras that made our mornings perfect. The location is far from the bustle, yet within 30‑45 minutes of Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, the North Sea, Oostende, Blankenberge, the Dutch beach at Cadzand, and the town of Sluis.

B&B Lomolen surpassed our expectations and was the ideal base for visiting both Gent and Bruges. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the hostess was fantastic.
