I stayed in a spot right next to shops and restaurants, and the room was spotless and smelled fresh. The breakfast, however, was only mediocre; adding bacon and grits would improve it.
The Hampton Inn remains a clean, safe, comfortable, and convenient stop on my solo female travels, and this was my third visit. I strongly recommend it, especially because the staff are friendly and welcoming. I have no complaints, particularly since they always respect my request to avoid rooms above the 3rd floor.
