The welcome was excellent! The room was quiet in October, clean, with very good bedding and right next to the marshes. The breakfast was also very good.

The welcome was very good at a friendly hotel located across from an interesting bird‑watching park. The rooms face an inner courtyard with a pool that isolates them from street noise. Breakfast was quite decent, and the value for money was excellent.

I was staying there to visit the Pont de Gau ornithological park, so I really liked the spot being only 200 metres from the park. However, there were no hair dryers or mini‑fridge in the room, which would have been very welcome.

The location is ideal for exploring the area, the owners’ welcome was charming, and the place is quiet. We would have liked better pool security with two sturdy handrails, firmer mattresses, a breakfast that included a hard‑boiled egg, salted butter, or a cheese slice, and we suggested removing the orange juice made from concentrate—which offers no benefit—and replacing it with watermelon pieces. Also, the jam brand should be changed; what we received was flavored, jelled sweet water.

The location, setting, and owners’ friendliness were great, the room had a pool view, the breakfast was generous, and we’ll come back.
