“An absolute hidden gem!”
Lovely area, great walks, dog friendly, nice bar area, easy and convenient and a lovely get away. Restaurant is currently being renovated so no breakfast option

It is close to the Wrekin and therefore a very pleasant walk in the early evening. Close to Wellington so able to walk in to town in 30minutes. Plenty of parking. Staff were keen to please. Excellent value for money. Historic hotel with the Sir John Bayley connection. No breakfast but I knew this when booking

Comfortable bed. Excellent view. No working lift. Electrics in the room were terrible. No Internet. Could have done with an extra blanket. Mattress whilst comfortable was stained. Didn’t want to get in it. Dated in need of refurbishment.

plenty of free parking, reasonably priced. No food available as kitchen closed, rooms could be cleaned better - tea stains on walls & skirting board. Bed sheet did not fit properly so kept coming off leaving bare mattress underneath. Lift out of order
