“beautifully kept gardens and buildings surrounded by open countryside”

The property’s vibe was lovely, with beautifully maintained gardens and buildings set amid open countryside all around. We liked the evening game drive around the area, and the food was good while the staff were helpful and friendly. Driving on the gravel roads and rough driveway was fine in our hired 4WD. A few extra plug sockets in the bedroom and a small fridge would have been nice.

“Great place to get away from civilization”

This lodge is stunningly remote; the drive from the gate to the lodge itself was breathtaking, and we even spotted a couple of ostriches. The property is gorgeous, our room was very spacious with large, comfortable beds, and the bathrooms were huge. The staff were very friendly. The heated pool wasn’t actually heated during our stay and was ice cold, and the building itself needs some repairs.

“Muss nicht”

It was clean and the staff were friendly. However, the room’s furnishings look like they’re from the 80s and feel worn out, and the central climate control for the room is a problem. The dinner and breakfast don’t match the product selection and pricing standards that are normal and good in Namibia. There were no activities offered, and the “management” only showed up when it was time to pay. So you have to decide for yourself.
