The staff were very pleasant, and the hotel sits in the heart of the old town, close to the bazaar and sights to visit; the room was spacious and well equipped, with a fridge and kettle available for tea or coffee. However, the room faced the street where metal workshops are located, so there was a lot of noise from 8 am onward; three of the five windows were blocked by insulation, making the room quite dark.

The location was good, close to the old city centre, and the staff were top; the room was smoked, so it smelled; the bed was very firm; opposite the room is a workshop that makes a lot of noise from 8 am to 8 pm.

The Yulduz Hotel turned out to be a great surprise; the staff were welcoming, the room was clean and spacious, and the neighbourhood is truly authentic with a huge concentration of formers and tailors, making it pleasantly disorienting; the very beautiful Devonaboy Masjid mosque is next door, as is a huge bazaar to wander through and the Navoiy park.

A hotel in the heart of Eski Shahr (Old Town) that’s perfectly positioned just steps from the lively farmers market at the Eski Bazaar, the stunning Jome Mosque, the historic Medressa now hosting art and craft workshops, and the cozy Yalla Café with its delicious food. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, kind, and helpful, even arranging travel to the Kyrgyzstan border for us. We were thrilled to receive a complimentary room upgrade, giving us a spacious, spotless, and very comfortable place to unwind for several days. A truly great hotel – highly recommended for anyone visiting Andijan!
