“Schönes altes Hotel mit Charme und eine herrliche Aussicht.”
We paid for breakfast, but for the price it turned out to be rather disappointing; by 8 am it already looked as if everything had been taken, and the spread was sparse and not lovingly presented.
“Scenic and very relaxing”
We asked for an early check‑in and the request was granted; the staff member was fantastic and very friendly, and everyone else we met was also helpful. You need a car to go out for dinner, but the views more than compensate; the pool had a few insects that seemed worse on our second day, yet otherwise it was lovely. We had lunch one day and my husband's lasagne was cold in the middle—probably microwaved—but the flavor was decent.
“Viel zu teuer, enttäuschendes Frühstück und eine extrem schwierige Anfahrt”
We paid about 400 € for a single night with breakfast, parking and tourist fee included, which felt far too high for what we received. The view over the lake was the only real highlight, but the overall value for money was disappointing. Getting to the hotel was a nightmare: the route cuts through very narrow, confusing alleys, and we were constantly worried about damaging our car, especially with a larger vehicle. If we’d read earlier reviews warning about the difficult approach, we wouldn’t have booked. The breakfast was the worst we’ve had in a hotel of this price range – both the selection and quality were completely inadequate. In short, the poor value, the hard-to‑reach location, and the subpar breakfast make this place hard to recommend.
The view from the room over Lake Como was magnificent, and the restaurant terrace offered the same. The room was tiny and rather basic, not worth the €450.
“Soggiorno piacevole, luogo strategico e accoglienza da 5 stelle”
Location, services, and the friendliness of the staff.
