“Schöne Unterkunft, schlechte Kommunikation”
The accommodation was pretty and clean, and the hosts were nice. Communication was very poor; written questions were not answered or responded to.

A young woman welcomed us warmly and let us in a bit earlier. The rooms and the whole house were tastefully and cozyly furnished. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return.

Breakfast and dinner were very good and plentiful! A very nice young lady “took care” of us. The room was very cold upon arrival; because it has underfloor heating, it took a long time to warm up.

Overall a nice pension with a lovely common room. Before arrival we only received two room codes for four rooms, and no reply came to an email asking for the missing two codes. On the day of arrival, a phone call told us the rooms had keys and that check‑in was only allowed from 14 h. That wasn’t the issue; we were planning to arrive around 16 h, but the tone set the mood. When we finally arrived and settled in, the owner immediately told us that she didn’t like having so many items on the table (there was a water bottle and a sandwich box) and that 22 h was absolute quiet time! To enforce this, the entire pension is equipped with cameras that apparently work. Ten minutes before 22 h we were asked to go to bed. The “korken fee” for bringing your own drinks was waived.

We were already back at Pension Nippgen for the second time. The location was absolutely quiet, access was trouble‑free with a door code, Wi‑Fi worked flawlessly, and the breakfast was generous and flawless. I can’t think of anything negative.
