I loved everything; the hostel pleasantly surprised me. Undoubtedly one of the best (if not the best!) I've stayed at in Brazil! The place was extremely clean—rooms, bathrooms, and common areas all spotless. The beds were brand new, with individual curtains and fresh mattresses, so I didn't get any allergies, which often happen. The house is spacious, offering plenty of room to relax; I would just add more hammocks! The service was excellent, everyone was helpful and available. I would definitely return and want to check out the other rooms, and I'll recommend it to everyone.

Breakfast was a classic buffet, and the hostel’s location is safe, close to the basilica, theatre, and Estação das Docas. The area near the fort feels a bit sketchy, so I’d avoid staying there.
