A charming little escape that delivers great value. The room sits in a separate building, offering privacy, calm and silence amid beautiful countryside, and the Sunday roast was absolutely epic. The only downside was that the room only had instant coffee instead of fresh coffee.

A lovely historic pub with rooms conveniently close to the Channel tunnel. Molly, the owner, welcomed us warmly and we arrived on a live‑music night that added to the great vibe. The food was good and the service very helpful.

The spacious room was tidy, equipped with tea and coffee facilities, and smelled fresh. The staff were very friendly, we enjoyed dinner at the pub and the breakfast was also well arranged. Everything was prepared nicely and more than enough. The windows could only be opened a little, which was not ideal in warm weather. Some skylights lacked curtains, so I woke up early because of the outside light. Beyond the pub, there isn’t much nearby, so keep that in mind.
