The place was clean, but it was very basic—tiny motel, tiny room, bad shower, no comfort at all, located in the middle of nowhere, and I felt it should have been no more than $40, not $58.

The parking and location made it easy to get to Death Valley, and the staff were welcoming, but we chose a non‑smoking room and the walls still smelled of smoke, the sheets and towels were stained, and the place wasn’t spotless, with dust that seemed old.

The owner was very nice and let us check in late; the room had everything a short‑term stay needs, the bathroom was small but clean with soap, shampoo, and towels, and the room included a TV, microwave, and air conditioning, so we were happy with our stay.
