Everyone I met was very nice! Lots of cats in the yard, they are sooooooo cute!!!!! The hotel’s location is very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and a dive shop. I’d recommend the restaurant next to the hotel, especially the Thai section—it’s dangerously good!

The room was clean and had a nice balcony, but I had to drag my suitcase for nearly 50 meters through a sandy patch to reach it.

The cleanliness was decent, but the buzzing sound from the aircon made it hard to sleep. The Wi‑Fi didn't work; when I told the staff, she said it was being fixed, but it never was during my week-long stay. I wasn’t told that using a credit card would incur extra charges, which wasn’t mentioned in the brochure either. The bed was quite stiff and could be uncomfortable if you’re not used to it.

The hotel sits right in the heart of Malapascua, beside a market where we enjoyed grilled fresh fish almost nightly. The room had hot water and air conditioning. It feels a touch expensive for what it provides, yet it’s adequate for a few days.
