The Schützenhof is very centrally located, and even when all the parking spots in front of the door are full, there are plenty of options to park in the side streets. The bright, friendly single room was great, and the instructions on how to check in were very precise. The staff at the Eifelstube were very friendly if you want to dine there, and the selection of Speisen was also very good.
“Gutes Hotel als Start für Wanderung”
Central, right on the Old Town; the breakfast is in the Eifelstube, a 5‑minute walk away and not inside the hotel.
“Uns hat es gefallen und wir kommen sicher mal wieder!”
Good breakfast, but it’s in another hotel 150 m away and that’s not ideal when it rains; the room is nicely renovated, though the carpet could have been removed because it looked a bit worn.
“Prima hotel voor omgeving te bekijken”
There is a view and an elevator to reach the floors. Maybe the hotel should post new photos, and breakfast is at the sister hotel.
“2 dagen in Ahrweiler”
Room layout and the shared fridge for drinks that guests could grab and note were good; breakfast is held elsewhere.
