“Just a great guy and wonderful rustic accommodation”
The owner and his dogs were incredibly friendly, the breakfast was spot‑on, the beds were comfy, and the bathroom was fully stocked – all good!

The space was pretty pleasant to unwind in, very quiet, and offered a fantastic view of Marvão; the location was great, close to Portagem and just a few steps from Castelo de Vide, and the host was very friendly. Access to the farm after leaving the main road was a bit tricky, the pool area needed some upkeep, and I’d suggest adding a proper path to the pool.

The surrounding area, the two dogs Metralha and Pintas that made us feel welcomed, and Mr. José, the owner, who was always up for a good chat.

The farm is extraordinary, but the path to get there should be widened, and the neighbors ought to give a bit of land to improve the access.
