“Loved it and a mandatory stay when in Aswan”
We were thrilled with every detail—everything was spotless and tastefully decorated. The spot was perfect, offering both Nile and desert views. The host was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to help us. Breakfast each morning was tasty, and even though we had to leave early, he arranged a private boat for us.
“Personal muy amable, lugar cómodo y limpio. Todo muy bien”
Abouda is a very friendly host who makes your stay extremely comfortable.
“Un petit havre de paix sur une île du Nil mise en valeur par l’accueil chaleureux de Mohamed.”
It was a pleasure to stay at Mohamed’s hotel, both for his warm welcome surrounded by hibiscus drinks and for the conversations about Nubian culture. The rooms were comfortable with pleasant décor. The highlight was the tiled rooftop terrace overlooking the Nile, and the location on Elephantine Island—no car needed, a little haven amid the bustle. His organized tours around Aswan were of high quality and flawless.
I couldn’t have picked a better spot to stay in Aswan. Nuba Tod turned out to be a gem, not only because the room was comfortable and clean and the rooftop terrace was pleasant, but also because of Abouda’s extraordinary hospitality, who opened his home, family, and territory to us. Whatever you need, trust that he’ll help organize it with generosity and dedication. If you haven’t already, book at Nuba Tod and ask him to arrange activities—from temple visits to a day in Nubian villages, or a felucca ride. Highly recommended! Everything was impeccable.
The upstairs seating area was a great spot to unwind, and Mohammed was very helpful in arranging trips and spending time with us. I also loved the authentic design. I would definitely stay again 👍 The bathroom was very small.
