I liked the location and the free coffee machine in the breakfast area; breakfast was simple but enough to start the day with a quick omelet, veggies and other options. I did not like the bad smell in room #228 – it was awful and even after airing it out for a long time it didn’t improve, and that was the only thing that lowered my rating for Cleanliness and Comfort.
The place is beautiful.
The hotel sits right on the main road, next to a restaurant complex with parking available, and I’d like to thank the reception officer who greeted me with top‑level professionalism. They charged me for water that should have been provided daily—half a riyal per bottle—and when I asked the reception for eight bottles for two rooms, she said two were free and the rest cost two riyals each, which I accepted. At checkout they billed me 16 riyals for six bottles, and the Asian‑styled receptionist claimed the price had risen to three riyals per bottle—“yesterday it was two, today it’s three!” I refused, paid ten riyals and left feeling the Ritz‑Carlton‑like service gave a poor impression because of the confusing billing.
The stay was good.
“لا انصح به”
The cleanliness was lacking.
