The only thing that saved it was the location – it’s right where you want to be. The room, however, was a nightmare: filthy, no utensils for everyone, the second‑floor bathroom was just a pipe, and there were no linens at all. It was a real mess.

The house sits in a nice area, but getting there was a disaster. A video only showed the first gate, I walked into someone else’s house, got no key, and had to find a couple already staying to get in. Inside, the place smelled of cat urine, was dusty and moldy, the second‑floor bathroom had no shower, we had to buy toilet paper, and the host was rude when we complained.

The spot is solid and the first‑floor shower was fine, and we were let in early. But the hostel was a mess – we had to buy a broom, mop, and cleaning supplies, there was a dead cockroach, mold, sticky floors, no dishes or linens, and the second‑floor shower was just a pipe. With six of us in three rooms, there were only two forks, four plates, and four cups, and when another couple booked the whole house we were left scrambling. The host was dismissive when we raised the issues.

The place offers great value: comfy rooms, a full kitchen, and a home‑like vibe, with the host readily available on WhatsApp since there’s no front desk. We were the only guests, so we had the whole hostel to ourselves, and everything was well organized.
