Perfect location for getting around to the beaches.

It’s in the center of Alliste, very convenient. Restaurants are very close. It’s relatively quiet. The village’s location is very convenient for trips to the beaches. The host was very helpful and eager to serve us. The room has a level with an uncomfortable-ish staircase. A/C is only in the bedroom. The room’s terrace was quite dirty. There was no chair to sit on, and the worst part is that when we left the room, the power shuts off, which is fine, but the fridge also turns off. I find that unacceptable, especially in the summer months.

I thought the place was a solid 9 out of 10, mainly because it offered good value and a charming village vibe, and the host communicated well. The recent renovation was noticeable, and the breakfast at Bar Napoli was a nice touch, even though it only included a pastry or smaller sandwich and a drink. I didn’t need the kitchen, but it would have been handy if there were cutlery and a sharp knife, plus glasses. Each floor had just one electrical outlet, so charging two phones at once required moving the phone to another floor, and the nightstand lamps couldn’t reach the outlet. The bathroom felt damp and had a slightly funky smell, which I guess is normal in humid countries. There were many stairs, and the apartment’s kitchen layout could be a hassle for some.

The village of Alliste is unique, small yet lively, and the property sits in the center near several bars and restaurants that are walkable. Parking is available nearby. The building is well renovated, showing characteristic Salentino palace elements. Breakfast at nearby cafés and pastry shops is fairly convenient and enjoyable. The room’s layout across multiple floors is inconvenient, and the kitchenette feels unnecessary in such a small space, especially given the lack of proper seating.
