None. The room had a strong, unpleasant odor that smelled like old cooking oil. Even after using odor-eliminating spray, the smell would only disappear for a minute or two before returning. The room did not feel clean or comfortable. When I asked the front desk for odor spray, the staff member laughed and joked, "Don't you like the smell of food?" before giving it to me. This suggested that staff were already aware of the odor issue but were not taking guest concerns seriously. Combined with the serious security problems we experienced, this made for a very disappointing stay. Extremely Serious Safety and Security ConcernsI would strongly caution anyone considering this hotel. During our stay, staff reactivated a room key for previous guests and gave them access to our room at approximately 2:00 AM. Fortunately, our family was still awake. The couple entered and claimed they had left belongings behind in the room before we checked in. They then stated they would speak with hotel staff. When we checked our own key cards afterward, they had been deactivated. We went to the front desk seeking an explanation and were shocked to learn that staff had reactivated the previous guests' key without notifying us. When we expressed concerns about the serious safety breach, the staff member dismissed our concerns and asked, "Why are you still here?"We were traveling with children and no longer felt safe. Fearing for our family's safety, we stayed awake the entire night guarding the door rather than sleeping. The situation was made even worse by the staff's lack of concern and refusal to properly address what had happened. The next morning, we checked out and spoke with management. Unfortunately, the manager claimed not to know how the strangers gained access to our room and offered no meaningful explanation or apology. We immediately reported the incident to and requested a full refund. At the time of our last communication, informed us that the hotel had not responded to their attempts to contact them.Unauthorized access to a guest room is an extremely serious security failure. Combined with the dismissive response from staff and management, this was one of the most unsettling hotel experiences our family has ever had. We cannot recommend staying here

I thought the price matched the quality of the room and its kitchenette, but the kitchen lacked basic items like plates, cutlery, napkins, and even plasticware, which would have been a welcome touch.

The location is spot‑on in Central Metro Detroit and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the elevator was filthy with fingerprints on the buttons, the sink in my room was broken—only one handle that fell off when lifted—and the room had a musty smell and a hard floor that seemed unswept, so I had to wear my shoes inside; I’ve stayed at comparable hotels for the same rate and got much better value, though maintenance did fix the sink promptly after I reported it.

The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious, but I booked a room with two queen beds and only received one, and I didn’t realize the mistake until I opened the door.
