We stayed with David and his family and it was absolutely wonderful! David was easy to contact, replied very fast and clear, and helped us with all his questions. The food his family made was extremely delicious. On top of that, David went out of his way to pick us up from bus stations, bring us to the hiking start point, etc., without any hesitation. David is also a guide on the Mestia to Ushguli trek, so he can answer any questions about that. If you’re lucky with the weather, the view from the rooms is incredible. One thing to note: the accommodation is not in the centre of Mestia, but as mentioned, David will transfer you to and from the centre. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Mestia!
