“Would definitely come back. Really lovely hotel looking forward to seeing any updates next year”

Very classic county style. I love the decor and the vibe of the hotel. The only gripe is that the rooms on the upper floor feel a little dated and could use new mattresses.

The bed was too short for my husband (190 cm) and he didn’t want to help resolve it. No one on staff spoke English, and they wouldn’t help us book a taxi.

The room was really nice and the staff were friendly, but the cooked breakfast wasn’t great.

“Phantastisches Haus in einer phantastischen Umgebung.”

We felt like we were transported back to the early 20th century; the whole hotel’s vibe is gorgeous, and our room and the common areas created an incredibly lovely atmosphere. The staff were consistently very, very friendly, and we especially enjoyed the afternoon tea and the little touches in the room. Ten points because there are no higher scores. Everything was perfect.

The common areas are beautiful and lunch is very good, but the rooms could use a bit of love.
