“Dishonest fees, adequate rooms”

The room was decent and reasonably clean, but there were cigarette burns in the bedding and ants in the bathroom. He charges a fee for any booking on this website or any other website other than his own (which is glitchy and usually doesn't work). This $10 fee is not disclosed at booking, which is outrageous. The bedding needs to be replaced and the carpets need cleaning. There is coffee in the rooms but no sugar. There were ants in our room. Considering that there are only 2 options in Long Prairie, I would still stay here if I had to, since the Prairie Ridge Inn charges much higher prices for the same quality

Our stay was marred by a couple of major issues. First, the electricity went out, which made things pretty inconvenient. And to make matters worse, the hotel had a strict two-person limit per room, which was a problem for us since we had family visiting for the day.

“Two day stay”

We've been coming to this hotel for years, and it's always been a great experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they even took the time to teach me some new tricks for my phone. The town itself is lovely, and we enjoyed visiting the veteran display downtown. If I'm being picky, I'd say the only downside was that the box of tissues was empty – but that was a minor quibble.

On the plus side, the lights and air conditioner worked, which was a relief after a long day. However, the bathroom and shower were a bit of a letdown – they were small, and we were charged extra for using them.

“Short stay”

We were pleasantly surprised by the hot shower and cable TV, which made our stay pretty comfortable. However, there were a couple of issues – the room was a bit dusty, with spider webs in the corners, and we had to ask for towels, which took a while to arrive.
