“Always a lovely hide out when we are around Germiston, host communicates really well, and everything looks exactly like”
The place is really modern and visually appealing.

It exceeded our expectations. Being close to the athletic stadium was a big help during the three days at SA’s. The host was very helpful and friendly, though there weren’t enough plugs; she did help us find alternatives.

The rooms are spacious and the facilities are good, but the service was awful. On my first visit I gave them a chance, but the second time things got worse. The main bedroom had no hot water in the shower—only the bathtub worked—and the other room did have hot water. They claimed a torn towel was burned when ironed, yet still offered it to guests. After our first night the rooms weren’t cleaned until we complained, and they said they only clean on request, which I found odd because I’ve never heard of that. Even after we asked for cleaning, we were told to leave the kitchen as we found it. The gate was left unlocked, sometimes wide open at night, and no guards were present. There were no outlets for both side lamps, and the kettle had to be placed on the floor to plug in. What really shocked me was the attitude of the agent/manager when I asked about the 13% per‑hour late‑checkout charge; checkout is at 10 am, which is unreasonable, especially on weekends when most places allow 11 am.

The only bright spot was that the guesthouse sits inside a private, secure estate, but overall it was just quiet and tranquil.

It was a peaceful, quiet stay with nothing to complain about.
