The lobby’s vibe is nice, and the staff are friendly but slow to reply. However, the hotel feels extremely rundown: the carpet in the room is dirty, the bathroom wallpaper peels, and the bedding is awful—pillows unusable, the duvet lacks down and has clumps. It’s a 4‑star hotel that’s basically false advertising. We’ve stayed at Fairmounts worldwide, but this is the worst experience yet.

Location-wise, the lobby features a big fireplace. Yet the rooms are not only outdated—even the renovated ones are filthy: dust piled centimeters high in the bathroom and on the wooden beams, a musty smell, and a very loud air‑conditioner. Everything is also overpriced for what’s offered.
