“Der Höhepunkt einer Reise”

Travessia was the highlight of our five‑week trip through Limpopo and Mozambique. The lodge itself is beautiful in its facilities and dreamy location, the kitchen is super delicious. The best part was the on‑site team—thanks especially to Edu, Raul, Fernando and everyone else for an unforgettable stay and a great insight into life in Mozambique! (Definitely take a walk through the village, which the lodge supports, and a trip to the market in Massinga!) We definitely want to come back. Absolutely nothing negative.

“Paradis sur terre”

The location is extraordinary, the only one in the world, with a breathtaking beach that’s completely empty as far as the eye can see. The rooms are comfortable with stunning views, quality bedding, and attentive staff—special thanks to Raul, a lovely local who showed us the nearby community. The food is top‑quality, based on ultra‑fresh seafood (mullet, barracuda, langoustines…). Plenty of equipment to enjoy the sea and beach (body board, kayak, parasols…). In short, an exceptional establishment in every way. Absolutely nothing negative.

“Une magnifique halte en suspension entre les dunes et la forêt.”

We had a magnificent stop at Travessia Lodge. We stayed in a very comfortable family tent that was tastefully furnished. The place is superb, facing the ocean with the sound of waves. Every detail is thoughtfully designed. Breakfast is delicious. There are hammocks everywhere to relax. The pool is small (and cold like everywhere in August) but adds a bit of extra relaxation. The staff is very friendly. A nice touch was a fire organized at sunset. Everything was very good!

“Traumhafte Lodge 10/10!!!”

A wow experience from check‑in to departure. Fantastic lodge, beautiful decor and atmosphere. Everything was perfect! The food was fantastic, as was the staff. We’re thrilled and would come back anytime! Nothing negative.

“A true treat”

The place is pure luxury, tucked away, eco‑friendly, and steeped in local history. Getting there takes a fun 4x4 drive. The dunes and beach are dreamy, the room was immaculate and cozy, and the pool area is so relaxing. The dinner was the best we had on our Mozambique trip – everything was delicious.
