The only thing that really put me off was the breakfast – it was far more expensive than I expected for what was offered. Everything else was fine, but the high price left a sour taste.

The spot itself is lovely, with a great location that made getting around easy. I didn’t have any complaints about the stay.

Staying here put us right in the middle of nature, which wasn’t even why we came, and the staff were warm and helpful. Unfortunately the Wi‑Fi was almost unusable and the TV never turned on, which was a real hassle.

The surroundings and terrace are beautiful, making it a pleasant place to be outside. Inside, though, we didn’t get the room we booked – the bathroom was down the hall, the hallway smelled of urine, and the décor felt worn and in need of repair. The restaurant’s menu had changed for the worse, and breakfast was skimpy, with just a bowl of cereal and no milk or yogurt.
