The bathroom was a let‑down – there was no seat on the toilet and the shower curtain was just a thin plastic sheet that fluttered around with any breeze and stuck to you. On top of that, I could hear a lot of noise from the next doors, like people dragging furniture around. Not the kind of peace I was hoping for.

Everything about this place was spot on: prime location, spacious rooms, comfy beds with good linens, and the staff were genuinely helpful. I’d definitely recommend it. The only snag was the shower – you either get a barely warm spray or it shoots out scalding hot, with no middle ground.

The room size and price felt right for what I paid, and the space was comfortable. However, when I walked in the fresh sheets had been put on, the old ones were still left on the bed, which was a bit odd.
