I checked the photos on the Radisson Blu site before booking, only to find the whole property under construction, which ruined my leisure trip to Udaipur. Construction noise, drilling sounds seeped into the room, the gaming area was shut down, and cultural events were happening there—none of it was enjoyable. The staff never inquired about my day or offered any assistance, and everyone else complained the same.

The room was mostly nice and opulent, and the pool looked great even though we didn’t use it. However, the hotel was undergoing major renovations that were never disclosed at booking or afterward. Paint fumes, construction dust, and noise were absolutely terrible and unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber, and the rooftop dining that was supposed to be available had been demolished.
