Breakfasts were delicious, and the feeling of eating a tasty meal in a beautiful garden was incredible; the room was very clean and fresh, and the hotel’s location was convenient.

The garden is shaded by fruit trees, but the noise is terrible—no soundproofing on doors or windows means you hear the street, neighbors, roosters at night, and a 6 am prayer chant. Late‑night music from nearby hotels and pensions makes the nights even shorter, and a group of Russians doing group exercise in a room forces everyone to listen. The rooms feel very rudimentary with 30‑year‑old furniture that doesn’t justify the price. We stayed at five different hotels in Turkey for our vacation; this was the most expensive, most uncomfortable, and the staff didn’t speak English. Breakfast isn’t served until 9:30 am, and the vegetables and cheese have no flavor.

Breakfast is fine if you eat muesli, porridge, or eggs, but there’s no meat or sausage. The garden is lovely and has a turtle, though mosquitoes are present. The hotel’s location is not as shown on the map—what we expected to be within a few hundred meters of the water turned out to be 600 m away. The kitchen is a separate room at the entrance without air conditioning; at 40 °C it feels like a Martian workshop. The bathroom plumbing is average Turkish quality, but the shower’s water temperature changes with the height of the shower head—a surprise my wife discovered on her first day when she got scalded. So if you need to remove the shower head from the wall and clean something below, don’t pour water on yourself; lower it, adjust the temperature, then wash.

Breakfast is good, and the fruit garden is lovely. The only downside is that breakfast could start earlier.

My family felt comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfasts in the garden were wonderful. There’s a kitchen for simple dinners or lunches. The place is quiet, making for a great break, and the beach is a 15‑minute walk away.
