The location and restaurant were both great. I slept on a double bed that felt small compared to the king‑size beds I’m used to, which meant I didn’t get a very good night’s sleep.

The location worked well for our visit, and the place itself was pretty and housed a charming pub with great food. Parking was convenient. However, the staff, while friendly, felt a bit over‑the‑top; several of them seemed to be doing the same job or were absent altogether. When I asked one of them to check a flickering bedside light bulb, she claimed it was fine after looking at it, yet I had already inspected it and it was still flickering—so I had to turn it off, and the room stayed quite dim. The room’s temperature was uncomfortably hot; I suspected a heater might have been left on, but that wasn’t the case. Fortunately, there were two fans, and for such a small room I assumed that was the issue.

A fantastic spot for anyone touring the area, with a prime location close to many sights and a genuinely warm, professional welcome. Check‑in was swift and smooth, and parking is plentiful. The room itself was a treat: the beds were very comfortable, linens lovely, and the duvet and feather pillows superb. The bathroom was spacious, featuring a large walk‑in shower that doesn’t soak the whole room. There’s plenty of storage, hanging space, an iron, a large safe, tea, coffee, water, biscuits, good lighting, and a TV. Breakfast was abundant, made with high‑quality ingredients and offering a wide range of cooked options. Dinner at the on‑site restaurant was enjoyable, with dishes that appealed to everyone. Nothing to complain about—everything was excellent.

Friendly staff, lovely food, very comfortable beds and large rooms. Free parking. Very clean throughout the whole place - pub and rooms! Would definitely stay again!

This was our second stay at the Inn. The food was excellent, the room very good, and the staff very attentive; we’ve already booked for next year. Honestly, nothing to note otherwise.
