The spot is right in the middle of everything, which is the only thing that made sense about this place. The front desk was useless – they didn’t fix the hot‑water issue, refused to give us towels, and the bathroom kept flooding, while the air‑conditioning only kicked in after I complained past 10 pm. To top it off, the bar downstairs was blasting music all night, so I wouldn’t stay here again.

The only redeeming feature was the central location, but everything else fell apart – the room I booked as private turned out to share a bathroom, the bunk beds lacked safety rails, and the mattresses were rock‑hard. The AC unit under the window rattled nonstop, the shared bathroom was often filthy with cockroaches, and staff refused to move us despite repeated requests, only offering another sub‑par room after a formal complaint. Overall, the lack of respect and basic comfort was disappointing.

The hostel felt dark, cramped and downright dirty – the six‑person room was so tiny I could barely turn around, and it smelled and echoed with noise from the neighboring bar at night. I had booked four nights but left after the first, even though I’d already paid for the rest. I can’t recommend staying here.

The place scores points for being centrally located and cheap, but the rooms are extremely small and the vibe is more “just a place to crash” than a social hostel. If you’re only looking for a bed to sleep in, it works; otherwise, don’t expect much interaction with other travelers.
