“A fuir!”
We booked two nights at A Stay in Cici, near Hué, and left after the first day because the experience was catastrophic. The place, presented as a four‑star hotel, had nothing to do with the description: it was just a poorly managed house with a few rooms and no hotel‑level service. There was nothing around—no restaurants, no infrastructure. If you want to eat, you must order online because there is no functional kitchen. The shared kitchen was tiny, dirty, and looked like a student flat: you had to wash your own dishes, the space was cluttered, and hygiene was questionable. The interior was deplorable, the exterior even worse, with pervasive dirt. At reception, a man who didn’t speak any English simply pointed out the rooms without explanation. My children even opened a door and found a room already occupied, proving the total lack of management and professionalism. The beach directly opposite was extremely dirty, unusable, and completely abandoned. We endured a real nightmare at this place. Nothing matched the description, nothing reflected a four‑star level, and nothing justified the price paid. Absolutely avoid it.
