We decided not to stay because the style and branding felt fake and weird; it looked like a big chain rather than a boutique hotel, which clashed with Edinburgh’s historic vibe and seemed disrespectful to local culture. The interior could have been anywhere in the world, and the artwork was strange while the fake plants were awful; finishes and colours felt cheap for a 5‑star hotel. On the bright side, the staff were very helpful and understanding, but we lost 500 pounds by choosing not to stay here.

“Short break away from routine”

The complimentary drinks social hour was a great idea, bringing people together and leading to more bar visits and a trip to Baba. The first evening at the hotel was a win‑win situation, and on the second night we enjoyed the pool facilities, a facial, and a massage with Michelle Allison, who was very nice and professional. Nothing negative.

“Bon séjour avec un personnel très attentif”

The location and the friendliness of the staff were excellent; they are very professional. The hotel itself is very comfortable with very good bedding. The breakfast was very good, but the tables were poorly cleaned between guests and the main hall was very noisy.

Location when. I was really disappointed when we checked in on October 1.I checked in with my friends around 2 pm.I understand that check in time is 3 pm and I patiently waited till 3 pm.It was not ready till around before re 330.I did not complain because my friend Santiago room 400 was already upset since she was sick and only checked in after me’.The stay was good .I should have just let it go but when I checked out she got some refund due to inconvenience,but it’s not fair because I was was also inconvenience on checked in and we both book at same agency’.booking.com,please exercise fairness and I demand for u to investigate.thank you
