“Zeer aangenaam verblijf in dit prachtig hotel.”
The hotel sits right in the centre with plenty of shops nearby and easy access, the breakfast was delicious and served by very friendly staff, the décor was attractive and the overall atmosphere pleasant – I’d definitely recommend it; everything was spot‑on, no complaints at all.
“Highly recommend for the location and bookish folk. Rooms are cosy, however very comfortable.”
I loved the location and all the little book touches. The setup was good, and check‑in and check‑out were easy. The ice was a nice bonus. A small chair for the balcony would have been handy, but when I asked, they didn’t have any spares.
“1人で泊まるには気楽に行ける施設。”
The room came with a few books, a minimalist décor and separate bathroom and toilet, plus a spacious bathtub. The café’s book selection was thin, so it hardly felt like a “book hotel” and felt more like an afterthought; the café seats sit right in front of the shelves, making it awkward to reach for a title when someone is sitting there, and the menu there is also limited. The hallway on the first floor is narrow, which made it difficult to navigate with luggage.
The décor, staff treatment, cleanliness, and location were all excellent. The only downside was the nightlife area.
“Not bad place for the price. Lots of 2nd hand shops in the area and cafes”
There’s a nice café and lounge on the first floor, and you could store luggage in lockers before check‑in. The walls are thin, so you can hear neighbors snoring and footsteps, and it’s about a 15‑minute walk to the nearest station.
