Nothing positive to say. The reception was awful – the receptionist was very unfriendly, didn’t speak a word of French, and didn’t even say “welcome” in her own language. It’s no wonder people hate the German Swiss. The staff were cold, unwelcoming, and dry. We had stayed here before and always got free access to the baths with the room. As the reviews say, “free access to the baths on the arrival and departure days.” But to our shock, when we arrived the bath entrance was an extra CHF 70 for two hours. We were furious. The description also mentioned bathrobes, but there were none in the room, and the reception lady wouldn’t give any. We tried to explain our disappointment in German, but she ignored us and offered no compensation. The sofa was dirty, the mattress sagged, and the room was swarming with mosquitoes – definitely a place to avoid.

The food was really good, especially the breakfast – a huge buffet with everything you could want! The big plus was how easy it was to get to the Therme. Cleanliness was mostly fine; the key things like the bed and the toilet were okay, but when you look closer you see dead insects everywhere, a big stain on the toilet door, and a lot of dust.

The breakfast buffet had a good selection. The breakfast room was rather small and the buffet area was very cramped.
