The location and the staff were positives, but I was never warned that the water would be off, so there was no hot water for the shower.

The Tower Cafe dinner is a must‑try; Martin cooks exceptionally well, Yvonne's breakfast was amazing, and Francis delivered excellent service.

The reception was friendly, the breakfast lovely, and the location convenient. They even provided warm electric blankets and heaters, which made a big difference. The rooms felt a bit cramped and lacked proper curtains, and the wooden ceiling and floor let you hear every sound from the rooms below.

The location was fine. The room was small, the stairs were steep and narrow, and the bathroom was cramped and inconvenient. I booked and paid for two nights but left after one.

Communication was great, the location excellent, and the basic, clean, en‑suite accommodation comfortable for an overnight stay. The staff were friendly and the breakfast superb. We’d stay again. The village is amazing to explore with wonderful restaurants and locals. We didn’t realize we’d have to park on the street, but we quickly learned that safety isn’t an issue in this village, and the hotel sits right opposite a police station.
